On December 28, 2021, the final meeting of the Academic Council of the State Institution “Institute of Environmental Geochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” took place online. The meeting summed up the activities of the Institute for 2021 and considered the following issues:
- On the final report on “Substantiation of new approaches and methods of assessing the state of NPP facilities while extending their life” (2020-2021).
- On the final report on “Development of a methodology for assessing environmental pollution due to incidents with liquid radioactive media” (2020-2021).
- On the final report on “Development of software and methodological complex of geophysical and environmental support for intensification of gas production from depleted wells of the Dnieper-Donetsk basin Chapter 2. Analysis and assessment of environmental risks” (2021-2021).
- On the Interim Report on “Development of Hardware and Software Complex for Atmospheric Air Monitoring in Urban Areas within the Smart City Concept” (2021-2022).
- On awarding the title of senior researcher to a senior researcher of the Department of Radioactive Waste Management Problems.
- On submission of requests for competition of projects under the target program of scientific research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine “Nuclear and radiation technologies for the energy sector and social needs”.
- On submitting a request for a competition of scientific and technical projects of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for their financing in 2022.
- On approval of the topic of dissertation research and individual plan of the graduate student of the 1st year of study.
- On approval of the rules of admission to postgraduate and doctoral studies for 2022.
- On the activity of IGNS NAS of Ukraine in 2021.
