On April 29, 2026, the State Institution “Institute of Environmental Geochemistry of the NAS of Ukraine” will host a solemn academic council dedicated to two important events – the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster and the 30th anniversary of the Institute’s founding.
The event will include two thematic blocks. The first will be dedicated to honoring the memory and highlighting the contribution of scientists to overcoming the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident. The second block will concern the anniversary of the Institute, its scientific achievements, stages of formation and prospects for further development.
The event will take place on April 29 at 11:00 in the conference hall of the Institute.
