Dear colleagues,
On April 15-17, 2026, the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University hosted the International Scientific and Technical Conference “Problems of Modern Nuclear Energy”. The conference was held in a mixed format.
The first day began with plenary reports, the program was attended by the rector of Karazin University Tetyana Kaganovskaya, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleg Synegubov, the acting general director of the National Research Center of the Institute of Physics and Technology Mykola Azarenkov and others.
After the plenary reports, more than 40 reports were made, which mainly addressed materials science issues.
The next two days of the conference were held online. It is pleasant to note that the institute’s employees: Head of the Experimental Radiogeochemistry Department Borys Shabalin, Senior Researcher Yevgeny Svitlychny and Senior Researcher Serhiy Guziy took an active part in the conference, delivered reports and demonstrated innovative developments of our institute, which aroused sincere interest from colleagues.
