Postgraduate student of the Institute of Geophysics Andriy Pokshevnytskyi visited the laboratory of the State Enterprise “Ukrnaukageocenter” in Poltava. During the visit, he got acquainted with the material and technical base laboratory, modern analytical equipment, as well as the main methods of laboratory research used in the performance of geological and geoecological works. The laboratory specialists presented the areas of their activity, the features of sample preparation for analysis and the possibility of using the obtained results in scientific research and production practice. Such visits contribute to the expansion of professional competencies of young scientists, introduce them to modern laboratory facilities and deepen their understanding of the practical aspects of conducting geological research.
