GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR FORMING THE THESIS

II INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE

“GEOCHEMISTRY OF TECHNOGENESIS: CHALLENGES OF THE XXI CENTURY”

Author’s manuscripts fully prepared for printing, corresponding to the areas of work of the conference and designed according to the requirements, are accepted for publication. The authors of the materials are responsible for the content and accuracy of the data provided.

The conference organizing committee may reject materials that do not meet the thematic direction and the requirements for their design.

Language of publications: Ukrainian, English.

Presentation at the conference – 4 pages of theses.

Extended theses – from 6 to 10 pages (conference materials, which will be published as an article in the specialized scientific publication “Geochemistry of Technogenesis” with the assignment of an international DOI identifier).

 

Technical requirements for the design of conference materials:

  1. the texts of the conference materials must be prepared as Microsoft Word documents;
  2. the estimated volume of extended theses (to be published) is 6-10 pages of A4 format, including all figures, references and a list of references;pages are not numbered;
  3. the font used for submitting materials is TimesNewRoman, the pin size is 10 pt., the line spacing is 1;
  4. paragraph indentation – 0.75 – margins: upper, lower – 2 cm each, left – 3 cm;on the right – 1.5 cm.
  5. the main text is aligned across the width of the page, without hyphens;
  6. annotations (1800 characters, Times New Roman Cyr 9 point) in Ukrainian and English.
  7. section headings are highlighted in bold;
  8. design of tables: Times New Roman Cyr 9 pen.In two languages – Ukrainian and English.
  9. forming formulas: formulas are typed using the Microsoft Equation 3.0 editor.Formulas are numbered in parentheses to the right of the text.
  10. designing drawings.Text inscriptions on the picture and the name – in two languages – Ukrainian and English.Drawings are made using Microsoft Office tools or inserted into the publication in TFF, PCX, BMP raster formats with a resolution of 300 dpi.The text inscriptions on the pictures are exclusively in English in Times New Roman Cyr 9 font.
  11. the structured text should be followed according to the following subsections: Introduction. Analysis of previous studies, formulation of the problem, relevance of its solution, research tasks.Actual material and research methodology.Obtained results, their discussion.AcknowledgmentsReferences.
  12. before the title, the author’s full name, position, scientific title, ORCID and e-mail address are indicated – in English and Ukrainian.

References. The list of used sources should be compiled in alphabetical order (by the last name of the first author) without numbering and placed at the end of the text; it must be complete, that is, contain the surnames and initials of the authors, the year of publication, the title of the cited work, the full name of the journal, issue, as well as the first and last pages. Prepare in accordance with the requirements of international scientometric bases – according to the Наrvаrd standard. Citation of sources in the text should be done as follows:

Example: (Pushkarev, 2004).

For two authors: (Zabulonov, Dolin 2022).

If the reference is made to the work of three or more authors, after the first name, indicate etc.: (Yakovlev et al., 2019)

Speech: 15 minutes, with a mandatory PowerPoint presentation.
